MM 14B app for iPhone and iPad

The DSP Wireless Inc. MM14B App is a User Interface control for the Bose® ControlSpace® group of Commercial Audio products.

MM14B is of no use to you if you do not wish to configure and control a Bose® ESP or PM8500N based audio installation. MM14B is not a control for Bose consumer equipment.

The MM14B App will behave in a manner similar to the ConstrolSpace® CC-64 Control. MM14B is configured by creating a CC-64 control in CSD and giving it the IP number that is assigned to your iOS device. With the MM14B App open on your iOS device, Up-Load the new design. MM14B will then behave as a wireless version of your wired-in CC-64. You may want to use static IP numbers on your iOS device to reduce changes to the ControlSpace® configuration.

MM14B is a 1-Control User interface. Any ONE of the 16 Bank and Control combinations can be displayed on the screen. "Banks" and "Controls" can be switched on the fly by selecting the appropriate " B " or " C " located at the bottom of the screen. By selecting the " S " you will be able to control the "Selector".

Settings menu contains:
Background Color - 4 shades of gray.
Status Update Rate - heartbeat to check that device is still in range.
Message Timeout Rate - change if network latency is high.
Default Control Setup - select default combination of Bank and Control.
Number of Banks - changes from 1,2,3,4 Banks on display.
Show IP number - adds IP number to display.
Backlight enable - Enable screen dim.
Volume control enable - Enables volume and mute buttons.

To use the MM14B your Bose® ESP or PM8500N must connected to an Ethernet network that is WiFi enabled. The MM14B connects to your Bose® ControlSpace® audio device via WiFi. If you do not have WiFi connected to your audio device Ethernet network, the MM14B will not function.

Once your iOS device has an IP number that is on the local ControlSpace® network, you can scan for the MM14B using CSD.

The DSP Wireless M14B is a Universal iPhone / iPad App. It has been tested on iPhone 4s, iPod Touch 4th and 5th generation, iPad2, iPad Mini and iPad Air. MM14B requires iOS 6 and above.

The MM14B App has been tested with CSD v3.1 and CSD v4.0. Other CSD versions may work ok but are not supported.
